After being out of action for some time, Tshepiso 'Kast' Molapisi’s new release, King is said to be in demand. Speaking to Showbiz yesterday, Kast mentioned that the album somehow gained popularity after his take on a classic of the folk genre hit rotation. He not only re-made the song, but also featured the song’s originator, Anafiki Kerapelang.

"The song is called Re Babedi and it is originally sang by her, but I decided to add a little twist to it and modernise.  It looks like it is a people’s favourite," he said.

He added that many Batswana adore the track because it is an old Setswana love song.  He pointed out that Anafiki is a talented musician who inspires him to be the best he can be.  His collaboration with her has been one of the best decisions he has ever made, he said.
