Writing markets that pay :: Mmegi Online

March is starting so I thought it might be good to begin the month by searching around for some writing markets. I have a list this month of a few fiction markets, article markets, a book publisher and a humour poetry contest.

1. Holiday House Book Publishers

Holiday House publishes books for children ages four and up. According to their website regarding submissions: Please send the entire manuscript, whether submitting a picture book or novel. All submissions should be directed to the Editorial Department, Holiday House, 425 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10017. Send your manuscript by normal post not registered or certified mail. There is no need to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. We do not consider submissions by e-mail or fax.
