Funding availed for Tswapong water project

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Water shortages in villages in the Tswapong area may soon be averted with the funding of the rehabilitation of water supply project by the government through the ministry of Finance and Development Planning.

In recent years shortage of water in the Tswapong area has been a cause of concern with residents subjected to queuing in the standpipes in the early hours of the morning.

The water shortage has been mainly attributed to borehole breakdowns with some villages being supplied with water bowsers.
