Mmolotsi trashes BDP central committee

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown South MP, Wynter Mmolotsi has described the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) disciplinary committee as 'discredited and dirty'.

"I hear that my hearing is billed for today (Thursday). This committee is a Kangaroo Court and comprises of people that I know would lack objectivity when dealing with me in particular," said Mmolotsi, who is associated with the newly formed Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD).

Mmolotsi's offence is attending a recent Barata-Phathi meeting in Mogoditshane where the birth of BMD was discussed against the wishes of the BDP leadership.
