Motorsport engines roar into life on June 27

Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Botswana Motor Sport (BMS) postponed the season opener that was scheduled for March after the government suspended all sporting activities.
But now, engines will roar into life on June 27 as the BMS holds an off-road event, dubbed Boteti 200, in Orapa. “We wish to inform all Botswana motorsport clubs that the 2020 calendar will resume on June 27, with Orapa Motorsport Club hosting the season opener of the national off road championship,” a statement from the BMS reads.
