Vaka resigns as BIHL CEO

Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited has announced the shock resignation of group Chief Executive Officer, Regina Sikalesele-Vaka. The CEO will be leaving the company at the end of March.

"The board of directors of BIHL wishes to announce that the BIHL group chief executive officer, Regina Sikalesele-Vaka, is resigning from her position at the company in order to pursue other interests, effective 1st April, 2011," the company said in a statement. 

Sikalesele-Vaka has been with the group for the past seven years, six of which spent as the chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary, Botswana Life. She was appointed as BIHL group chief executive officer last year.
