Palapye Business Expo to empower youth SMMEs

PALAPYE: Palapye Business Expo- Youth Entrepreneurship fair that will be held from May 27-28 is expected to empower and equip small, medium & micro enterprise businesses (SMMEs) with business skills to expand their enterprises and diversify the economy.

Kedumetse Olaotse, the director of Paramount Springs, who are the organisers of the expo that will be held at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST), said the expo is aimed at creating a marketing and promotion platform for small and medium enterprises owned by the youth.

He said youth-owned companies have the potential to grow and create jobs for other young people.
