BITRI On Second Phase Of Renewable Energy

Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) is in the process of implementing the second phase of a research project aimed at alleviating hurdles hindering the adoption of renewable energy in the country.

This project, which started in 2015, is done in collaboration with Council for Scientific Industrial Research (CSIR) under the theme ‘Quantifying the financial costs and benefits of renewable energy resources in Botswana’s electricity system’.

According to BITRI, due to its wide-ranging implications for a broad range of stakeholders, the second phase will typically be a consultative process where inputs are sought from various stakeholders.

The Projects Magazine today launched The Future of Mining Summit, set to become the country’s premier mining conference. The event is scheduled for 12th and 13th of June 2024, at Boipuso Hall, Fairgrounds in Gaborone.
