BancABC launches mobile banking app

BancABC Botswana has launched its mobile banking platform ‘BancABC mobi’ as part of efforts to deliver digital strategy aimed at increasing banking convenience. The application, which has been piloted and tested in Zambia, is specifically created to cater for phones that do not have smartphone competencies.

According to the bank’s managing director, Jitto Kurian, the application will ensure convenience and allow customers to perform transactions while ‘on the go’.

“Our customers want technological solutions that make their lives easier and BancABC is that solution,” he said.
