Macheso enthusiastic on Slizer duet

Visiting Zimbabwean Sungura ace, Alick Macheso has reassured his fans that a unique collaboration with Botswana's House-Kwasa songbird Slizer (Naledi Kaisara) remains on the cards.

The two have shared the stage in several shows in Zimbabwe including government-organised galas, but could not link up because of Slizer's baby bump.

Macheso was in the country over the weekend and held shows in Francistown and Gaborone.The vastly talented guitarist could not hide his adoration for the Botswana star, adding that she had "become like my own sister".
"When I look at her passion for what she does, I can only predict a bright future for her. We've performed together a few times and she's struck me as a talented and dedicated musician," Macheso told Showbiz.
