Hotness In The Cold donates to Lobatse needy

Yarona fm presenter Tshephang 'T-Izzy' Motsisi's annual Hotness In The Cold charity campaign seems to be growing stronger with time.

This year, proceeds from the highly publicised campaign will be donated to the Lobatse Council on Friday (July 9).The campaign started three years ago and proceeds have been distributed to different regions. In 2008 about 10 bags of clothing, food and blankets were donated to the Lephoi Centre for the Blind in Francistown. Motsisi, however, said the campaign was not so successful because only clothes were donated to the Leratong Centre for Orphans in Thamaga.

This year, however, things are looking up and more children and disadvantaged members of the public will benefit from the exercise. The Lobatse Council has this time around been selected and is expected to distribute the proceeds to deserving communities in the area. Auditing firm, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWHC) have also jumped on board and are expected to donate used and new clothing at the event.
