Botswana acts showcase at GSS grounds

Sixty local artistes took to the stage on Saturday at the Gaborone Senior Secondary School grounds (GSS fair grounds) to show support to their fellow afro-hip pop and Motswako artist, Kast who was launching his latest promotional single 'BW Party'

The event attracted a large number of audiences who came to witness the launch of the year. The theme behind the launch was to celebrate local artists and to bring local music to the people free of charge.The launch was also a way of welcoming back the main man, Tshepiso Shima Molapise affectionately known as Kast back into the music industry. The artist also sang some of his previous hit songs which included Ntsha nkgo, Sejabana, Bantuka, Ke nesa pula,Nduno before delivering his promotional single 'BW Party'.

Kast' latest single has been receiving great reviews and it was evident the fans were eager to see the main act himself on stage with multitudes thronging the GSS grounds to witness the all-star line up of local musicians under one roof in support of Kast.The launch party was sponsored by YARONA FM and Twizza drinks. It had been a while since the political science graduate and rapper released a new album and one can say it was the biggest come back ever. The show gained momentum as the day went on with local artistes sharing the stage one after another.
