The annual beMOBILE Francistown marathon has been moved to pave way for the country’s 50th independence preparations and excitement.

The race, which is used to raise funds for the Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTCL) foundation, will now be held on October 16 instead of August 7.

“We have decided to postpone the event because we want to give a chance the euphoria about Botswana’s 50th celebrations.
