FRANCISTOWN: Nico United consolidated their lead at the top of the Debswana First Division North (FDN) league recording a convincing 2-0 home victory against struggling Motlakase Power Dynamos on Saturday afternoon.

The victory means that United have accumulated 23 points having registered seven wins and two draws in nine matches. Nico also have a game in hand after one of their matches was postponed due to COVID-19 positive cases late last year.

Peace Makers, who managed a goalless draw against a visiting Chadibe United, occupy the second spot in the league having collected 15 points from 10 matches.
