Mmoko, Moyo lead nominations for Sua awards

Kenneth Mmoko and Mcebisi Moyo scored four and three nominations respectively as Premier League debutants, Sua Flamingoes released its list of nominees for the season-ending awards ceremony.

The awards will be held on June 4. In his debut season, Mmoko is the most nominated player for this season's awards to be held at the Sowa Town Country Club. The 22-year-old has been nominated Young Player of the Season alongside Thabang Kgaogano and Otsile Tsapoga. He is also in contention for the Most Improved Player of the Season against Ronald Ngwako Ramokgathadi and Mpho Odubeng while he is also in contention for the Supporters’ Player of the Season with Moyo and Ramokgathadi.

Mmoko's other nomination is for the Goalkeeper of the Season award alongside Thabo Race. The biggest award of the night, the Player of the Season will be contested by Moyo, team captain Tendai Nyumasi and Botsile Morotsi. Zimbabwean striker, Moyo has scored one more nomination for the Players’ Player of the Season against Morotsi and team vice captain, Goitseone Legopole.
