The Botswana Football Association (BFA) is expected to announce Carol Kgafela as the new Head of Marketing, Commercial, and Communications, Mmegi Sport can reveal.

Kgafela has previously worked for Orange Botswana and the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency among others. Her appointment comes following the departure of Tumo Mpatane who left the association at the end of his contract in July.

Mpatane was the BFA marketing and public relations officer. “Her brief includes; aggressive solicitation of revenue, partnership management, stakeholder relations, and general public relations work,” a source said.
