The Association For International Sport For All (TAFISA) general assembly was held on Friday at the Grand hotel Bernardin in Slovenia where Wolfgang Baumann of Germany was elected the new TAFISA President and Botswana’s Keenese Katisenge-Tizhani became vice president for Africa.

Speaking to Sport Monitor, Katisenge-Tizhani said the appointment means a lot for her because she gets the opportunity to impact and contribute to policy development at an international level.

“I have always had a dream of contributing to the growth and development of my continent and this is one way of doing it. TAFISA has amazing programmes and projects that we will greatly benefit from as a country and continent,” she said.
