Extension Gunners interim chairperson, Bonno Ngwamotsoko is confident the club will be able to meet the 45-day deadline set by FIFA for the club to have paid their defender, Desire Bafana, the P400,000 owed.

On February 20, FIFA gave Gunners 45 days to pay Bafana his salary arrears or the Lobatse side risk a transfer ban.

Bafana approached the mother body to intervene in his bid to force his employers to pay. Ngwamotsoko said they are negotiating with the player and are hopeful of reaching a solution. "We are closing the matter with Bafana, it is just that he is not feeling well," Ngwamotsoko said.
