MOLEPOLOLE: Defending champions, Gaborone United (GU) registered their second successive victory in the Botswana Premier League (BPL), defeating Holy Ghost 2-0 on Saturday.

Both sides came into the match oozing confidence with GU having defeated BDF XI 2-0 while Holy Ghost came from behind to draw 2-2 against Jwaneng Galaxy.

From the first whistle, GU took the game to Holy Ghost and nearly scored on the seventh minute when Thatayaone Kgamanyane got an opportunity after Mothusi Cooper set him up but he shot wide. GU seemed to be on top of its game with Cooper bossing the midfield.
