FRANCISTOWN: The promotion of Eleven Angels to the Premier League did not only signal the highest point for the club but also saved Francistown residents from suffering the immeasurable pain of not having a Premier League team in the city for the second season in a row.

Angels gained promotion after thumping Mochudi Centre Chiefs 5-0 in a play-off match second leg played at the old Francistown Stadium on Saturday.

The major highlight of the match was ugly scenes that broke out just moments after the Angels' first goal in the 19th minute.
