FRANCISTOWN: Jwaneng Galaxy head coach, Sean Connor has blamed the Francistown Council Stadium pitch for his side's 1-1 draw against Calendar Stars in the FNB Premiership clash played on Sunday afternoon.

Following the draw, Galaxy sits in position two with 34 points, five points behind leaders, Gaborone United in the FNB premiership log. Calendar Stars remain in the relegation zone, sitting second from the bottom, just above Extension Gunners with 11 points. Connor was unimpressed with the condition of the pitch, saying it played a role in the draw against Stars. "I was not happy with the pitch, it contributed to my team not getting three points today," Connor said. He added that the team will regroup and work hard to regain lost points. "We are going back to work hard and try to get back some of these points,” said Connor.
