Riding on: Branch will hope for a change in fortunes

It has been two editions of the Dakar Rally to forget for local biker, Ross Branch.

In the last two competitions, Branch failed to conclude the prestigious race. In 2021, Branch had his engine damaged mid-way through the race while this year, the biker raced into a hedge forcing him to forfeit the last stages of the race.

Still last year, Branch did not have the best debut in the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship as he missed out on the title despite winning the first round.
