Africa Netball World Cup qualifiers budget at P900,000

As preparations for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 (NWC2027) African qualifier gather pace, the budget for the preparations stands at nearly P900,000. Ahead of the qualifier, which will be held in Kenya from September 19 to 26, sponsorship remains one of the biggest challenges for Botswana netball.

Botswana Netball Association (BONA) president, Mpopi Moatlhodi, told MmegiSport that for the remaining weeks, they expect the preparations to cost P400,000.

She said preparations are moving forward, but obviously, the level of preparation is affected when resources are limited.
