Wonder Sporting join fight against GBV

As the world commemorated the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), the United States Embassy joined forces with Premier League side Wonder Sporting to raise awareness on the matter.

In a league match attended by officials of the embassy, Wonder Sporting took to the ground wearing a gender-themed kit donated by the embassy.

The jerseys showed the picture a woman with a tape covering her mouth and a statement that read: “End the silence.  Stop violence”.
