Tsholofelo, UB rescue troubled BoBA

Tsholofelo Boxing Club were crowned the 2017 men’s Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) championships winners after the season ending tournament held at the University of Botswana (UB) on Saturday. UB grabbed the women’s title.

BMC Boxing Club claimed second position while EMG finished third in the men’s side. Last year’s champions, Prisons could only manage a fifth place finish. 

The tournament was rescued by the UB and Tsholofelo Boxing Clubs when it was doomed to fail due to lack of funds.
