Stage set for Wharic Cycle Challenge

The seventh edition of the 108km Wharic Cycle Challenge will be held on Sunday at the Boatle-Ramotswa junction.

The competition has attracted more than 100 cyclists in the open category. The race is organised by the Gaborone Cycling Club (GCC) with sponsorship from Wharic Construction Company.

GCC spokesperson, Peter Sekwale, said they are expecting over 100 cyclists in the seniors' category and more than 60 Under-13 competitors. Last year's 108km winner, Angus Box-Shall Smith, and the junior champion, Bernadette Auyso, are expected to defend their titles.
