Stage set for tough end to volleyball season

It is all to play for in the Mascom Volleyball League as the 2013 season draws to a close. In both the men and women’s sections the title is still up for grabs going into the ultimate weekend.

Men’s defending champions BDF VI play two stubborn sides, Diphatsa and Kutlwano as they battle to retain the title.  Diphatsa and Kutlwano, placed second and third respectively, are sure to offer stiff resistance. BDF VI are ahead with 66 points, just a point ahead of Diphatsa who are keen to pounce on any slip-up.

BDF VI can, however, still afford to lose both their remaining games and be crowned champions provided they lose each game by a 3-2 scoreline.
