Sponsor remains a secret on race eve

Phikwe marathon organisers and the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) say there are still finer details to iron out before the identity of the new race sponsor is revealed. The race takes place tomorrow and the new sponsor has been kept a closely guarded secret.

Mascom, which has sponsored the race over the last five editions, pulled out this year.  The announcement of the sponsor was expected on Wednesday.  LOC spokesperson, Baphisani Masunga said they could not reveal the sponsor’s identity during an interview yesterday.
