Thabang Sesinyi’s second half strike was the difference as Jwaneng Galaxy beat BDF XI 1-0 in the first leg of the Mascom Top 8 semi-final played at the National Stadium yesterday.

Galaxy’s first chance at goal came as early as the first minute when Lesego Lubinda received a through ball from Tebogo Sembowa, but the attacker skied his effort.

Eight minutes later, Sembowa provided Sesinyi with another defence splitting pass, but the latter could only hit the side netting with his effort. In the 23rd minute, Galaxy squandered yet another chance with Sesinyi failing to connect well with Setsile’s pinpoint cross.
