The victory saw him become the most successful player in the competition with four gold medals. He first won it with Township Rollers when they beat ECCO City Greens and was on the score sheet in the 3-1 win. He then moved to Gaborone United (GU) and won the competition twice with them.

They first defeated BDF XI in the final before they beat city rivals, Rollers two seasons later becoming the only side to have won it twice. Sembowa later joined Jwaneng Galaxy when they gained promotion last season. He has been instrumental and helped them finish in the top eight bracket in their first season in the elite league.
