SELEBI-PHIKWE: Security Systems took a long drive here but were rewarded with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Nico United on Saturday.

The match started with Systems having an upper hand and made frequent visits to Nico’s goalposts. Just five minutes into the game, Systems’ striker, Vincent Lekorwe gave Majombolo’s goalkeeper Otsile Ben his first real test after taking a powerful long shot outside the box. Ben, however was on high alert and managed to save the ball. Three minutes later, Systems’ Molebeledi Gabofiwe sliced through Nico’s defence but failed to convert the golden opportunity with his effort going wide.

Majombolo on the other hand had difficulties possessing the ball and found their opponents’ defence very solid to crack. In the 22nd minute, the hosts got an opportunity to take the lead but their striker Tlotlo Mpema failed to utilise the chance and shot over the post.
