Sunday Live Eviction Show Son of the Soil Smash Africa kicked off the live Eviction Show by reminding viewers about what is at stake for the Bazozwa housemates and the R2m that the winner stands to win! Smash congratulated Ashay for his win, making him Week 7’s Head of House (HoH). He also called out King Wanda about being a gossip in the house...Liema about the letter-writing, and The Don about saying he hated Que, which he corrected saying he does not, insisting, “I hate no one in the house!” Ilano was asked if she felt seen and appreciated by the housemates since she does all the glam for the housemates and their hair. She said she does, but the week’s letters did not have the ‘gratitude feel’ she was hoping for. Lol. Ilano’s eviction left Que emotional as he watched her leave the Bazozwa house. When it was her turn to speak on the live stage, she kept it short, sweet and true to her signature energy. Addressing her fans and supporters, she simply said: “Umgadlazo, baby!” Click here for Ilano’s Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa journey. When Smash crossed back into the house, Que was a picture of pure sadness. He could hardly find the words to express how he felt about Ilano’s eviction. His teary eyed expression said everything loud and clear. For more on Ilano’s journey, tune in to Big Brother Mzansi: Beyond Umsindo with Smash Afrika this Thursday at 19:00. T

Liema let it be known that she wants that Head of House (HoH) crown. After coming close multiple times, she admitted that it stings to almost win and not secure the title. Ashay tried to calm her down, reminding her that HoH sometimes comes down to timing and luck. The big moment that the housemates were preparing for finally came and they delivered where it mattered most, securing a 100% win on their wager task. Their creativity and performance earned Biggie’s approval and what should have been full bragging rights. But there was a plot twist! Biggie deducted 50% of the winnings because of unruly behaviour and repeated rule breaks, which included speaking in vernacular, sleeping in restricted areas and covering faces with hats and sunglasses. Celebration quickly turned into a serious house meeting. Ilano, Didi, Bravo B and Que owned up to their habits and the mood shifted from vibes to accountability. The message was loud and clear: this is not a holiday, it’s a competition! The half-loss may have cost them points, but it forced the house into discipline mode. Red Telephone Secret Tasks The Red Telephone sponsor tasks were giving chaos this week. • King Wanda was tasked with convincing the house they heard strange knocks.
When claims of such gravity are made, especially by a sitting Assistant Minister they cannot be brushed aside, delayed, or treated as routine political noise. Even the Ombudsman has confirmed receipt of a report from a political party and a review of these complaints is now underway. That is a necessary first step. But it is only the beginning. The seriousness of the allegations demands urgency, transparency and clarity. The public is entitled to...
