SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Managing Director of FC Satmos, Mooketsi China Mading has vowed that his team is not going into the beMOBILE Premier League to add numbers but to compete.

Mading was speaking to Mmegi Sport on the sidelines of their weekend game against Jwaneng Comets, which ended in a scoreless draw. The draw means 'The Cheetahs' have been promoted to the elite league for the 2013/2014 season where they will rub shoulders with the likes of Township Rollers, Gaborone United (GU), Nico United, Mochudi Centre Chiefs and others.Satmos secured promotion due to an away goal rule following a 1-1 draw a fortnight ago.Mading said his players were playing under pressure and the crowd that turned up at Selebi-Phikwe Stadium intimidated them.

He added that it was the first time they played before such a crowd. Following promotion they would go back to the drawing board and beef up the squad, Mading said, adding that they would be entering a difficult era and they should be ready for it. He warned that anyone underrating Satmos, as pushovers would be doing so at their own peril.Satmos has done what most teams are not able to do; staying only oneseason in the Premier League and staying another season in the First Division-North. He promised fans that the boys would work to stay for good in the top league this time around. "We are still looking for some businesses that can assist the team with finance. We have been faced with financial challenges during our stay in the First Division and may be our promotion, to the Premier League, will encourage sponsors to take us seriously and partner with us," he said.Last year saw Satmos getting sponsorship of P18, 000 from Swedish company, Hydroscand Hose and Fluid Connectors.
