Satmos, Hotspurs in top-of-the-table clash

SELEBI-PHIKWE: It will be a battle of the titans as FC Satmos take on log leaders Mahalapye Hotspurs in a First Division North encounter at the Selebi-Phikwe Stadium tomorrow. Kick-off is 7pm.

Satmos come into the game on the back of a 4-0 drubbing of Orapa Bucs 4-0 at the same venue last weekend. Only a point separates the two sides although Satmos have played one game more. A win for the home side will send them top of the log for the first time this season. Hotspurs' spokesperson, Godfrey Ranthoka, said they will face the Cheetahs without their top striker, Owen Ferguson, who is out through suspension after collecting two yellow cards. He said Hotspurs are not under pressure going into the encounter.

"FC Satmos are the ones under pressure as the home side and we have always done well when playing them away while we also find it hard to beat them in Mahalapye. Nobody gave us a chance at the beginning of the season; so we remain underdogs with no pressure at all, this game is not a decider. It is just a top of the log clash," Ranthoka said.
