Sabure and Olebile win chess tournament

Candidate Master Thato Olebile and Women Grand Master Tuduetso emerged as champions of the 2013 World Chess Federation (FIDE) Rated Rapid chess tournament held at the University of Botswana over the weekend

Olebile scored 7.5/9, Sabure managed 8/9 on a joint first with Women International Master Boikhutso Mudongo.

The two had the same scores and Sabure emerged the victor during a tiebreaker.  Mudongo came second with a score of eight and Kgalalelo Botlhole was on the third position with a score of 6.5. Onkemetse Francis ended her year in fourth position with a score of six.
