Premier League General Assembly date set

The Botswana Premier League (BPL) General Assembly, which was aborted in August, will be held in Palapye on November 13.

BPL general manager Phuthego Setete said the meeting will go ahead in Palapye next Saturday. The first meeting ended prematurely after the BPL failed to furnish the delegates with a copy of the minutes of the previous assembly while the financial report arrived late.

At one stage, the Premier League Committee (PLC) chairperson Mike Molefhe threatened to take action against Setete after the general assembly postponement.
