FRANCISTOWN: A 41-year-old man from Mapatse settlement in the Central District appeared before court on Friday for the continuation of a rape trial.

According to the charge sheet, Babolokeng Makhujwana allegedly raped the 63-year-old victim on December 5, 2021, in Mapatse. The accused, who is on trial without legal representation, has pleaded not guilty to the offence. He told the court that he was not at the alleged rape scene. The matter resumes on June 5.
