The Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) has paid outstanding allowances to athletes who took part in the post-Rio 2016 Olympic Games tour.

BNOC was responding to reports that athletes were unpaid when they left camp following the tours, which took them to Francistown and other villages along the A1.

BNOC chief executive officer, Tuelo Serufho said the athletes were cleared of their dues soon after they left camp.
