PALAPYE: Motlakase Power Dynamos preserved their Premier League status after defeating Notwane 3-2 in Serowe over the weekend.

Notwane started brightly knocking the ball around with ease and creating half chances that were either shot wide, over the bar or tamely into the goalkeepers’ hands.

Chouka on the other hand played a cautious game sitting calmly and allowing Toronto to play. Toronto’s Lemogang Maswena gave Motlakase tough time on the right flank. He had a very good understanding with striker Emmanuel Masisi.

Chouka had their moments as well and Pelaelo Hlabano produced a wonderful cross to the back post finding Oumar Ngobi who forced a scrambled save from Notwane’s goalkeeper.

Maswena was manhandled inside the box after outpacing a Chouka defender and the referee pointed to the spot. Zebron Ndlovu stepped up, but failed to convert.

His effort hit the upright despite sending the goalkeeper the wrong way and Chouka managed to clear. After the penalty scare, Chouka began to raise its  game pilling pressure on Notwane but the first half ended in a stalemate.

Motlakase came from the dressing room a different side attacking from the first minute with Lapologang Motlogi and Ngobi running at Notwane defence. Chouka were the first to break the deadlock in the 53rd minute. Ngobi dribbled inside the Notwane box and found Motlogi unmarked. He calmly converted leaving the Toronto goalkeeper helpless.

Notwane’s defence became too vulnerable after the goal and Chouka pressed forward. Five minutes later, Ngobi took on the defence that was caught back paddling and delivered a powerful drive into the right corner to make it 2-0 to Chouka.

Notwane had the Chouka goalkeeper to thank in the 66th minute after a silly blunder, which saw Notwane pull one back. An easy ball was cleared from the Notwane half and Motlakase goalkeeper, Daniel Kedidimetse failed to handle it.

Motlakase were also awarded a penalty after Ngobi was fouled inside the box and Motlogi converted. Maswena scored Notwane’s second goal after a good ball by Masisi.

What about employees in private sector?

How can this be achieved when there already is little care about the working conditions of those within the private sector employ? For a long time, private sector employees have been neglected by their employers, not because they cannot do better to care for them, but because they take advantage of government's laxity when it comes to protecting and advocating for public sector employees, giving the cue to employers within the private sector...
