Mosalagae upbeat ahead of cross country race

Lefika Athletics Club long distance star, Kaelo Mosalagae is confident he will book a berth in next month’s Southern Region Cross Country Championships in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

The runner competes in the National Cross Country Championship tomorrow in Serowe where the top four qualify for the Potchefstroom event to be held on February 18. Mosalagae said he is in excellent shape and expects to continue from where he left a fortnight ago during the cross country series.

“I aim to do well in the finals and I feel I am in a good state of mind right now. Last year I was a bit distracted because of personal issues,” he told Mmegi Sport.
