Molebatsi fires parting shots as he bows out

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Veteran utility player, Eric Molebatsi has quit football, but not without firing some parting shots directed at his former club, FC Satmos.

He retires at a time when the club claims he is under suspension. He was suspended together with Jomo Mgadla for alleged misconduct.However, Molebatsi disputes the club's claims and said he quit a long time ago. The former Zebras winger, said he decided to hang up his boots after realising that there were some people out to destroy him.

He said he was shocked to learn through the media that he had been suspended at Satmos. He said this could not be true because by the time the allegations emerged, he had already informed Satmos director, Mooketsi 'China' Mading that he was retiring.
