Talks between former Township Rollers striker Joel Mogorosi and Security Systems have collapsed due to the player’s wage demands.  Mogorosi left Rollers at end of last season after finishing second in the green boot race.

The 34-year-old failed to secure a new deal with the league champions after the club proposed a salary cut.

Nare is a great admirer of the Zebras captain and the deal looked sealed, but the club pulled out because of Mogorosi’s wage demands. “We have players that have left the club having been replaced. We have a policy here at Systems regarding the range of the players’ salaries,” said Systems’ secretary general, Billy Molebatsi.
