Mamelodi charged with misconduct as hearing starts

Botswana Premier League (BPL) chief executive officer (CEO), Bennett Mamelodi faced the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee (DC) for the first time yesterday as his hearing began.

This follows Mamelodi’s unsuccessful effort to stop the hearing at the High Court on Monday. He faces charges of gross misconduct.

Justice Lakvinder Walia had ruled against Mamelodi who had applied to the High Court seeking interdiction over a disciplinary hearing with the association.
