Kalavango Dim Stars To Halt Losing Streak

LOBATSE: Kalavango men’s team beat rivals, Spiking Stars 3-1 in an intriguing Mascom Volleyball League encounter played here over the weekend. The win meant Kalavango broke a three-month losing streak.

Spiking Stars went into the game high on confidence and showed determination to pocket the game. Stars bagged the first set, 25-12 after dominating proceedings 10-8 and 20-12 at some stage. Kalavango fought back in the second set, which was evenly contested as the scores tied 12-12,13-13 and 15-15 before Kalavango edged the fierce tie 28-26. 

Kalavango took control of the match as they moved to a crucial 2-1 lead in the game after winning the third set 25-20.
