Jaguars, BDF Through To Knock-Out Final

Canon Jaguars have qualified for the final of the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) knock-out cup after beating BDF Cheetahs ‘B’ team 15-6 in the semi-final played on Saturday at Wharic Park. In the other semi- final, the senior BDF Cheetahs team beat Gaborone Hogs 13-7 to set-up a final against Jaguars on March 25.

Against Jaguars, BDF B were favourites going into the match given their experience while Jaguars relied on speed.

The first half was nothing to write home about as the two sides failed to bring out their best. Cheetahs forced Jaguars to make mistakes by playing the ball into their half. Jaguars determination saw them finish the half 8-3 in the lead.
