The First Division South league committee has decided to suspend the proposed Top 8 tournament that was expected to kick off before the second round of the season. The decision was taken at a committee meeting held on Wednesday.

League chairperson, Sam Keitireng told Mmegi Sport yesterday the tournament has been suspended due to financial constraints.

He said even the committee failed to find a sponsor and the tournament will be held some other time when the situation improves.
