ECCO seek to end Rollers' jinx

The penultimate match of the Coca-Cola Cup quarterfinal takes place tomorrow with league champions ECCO City Greens seeking a first ever win over Township Rollers. Since their promotion to the elite league three seasons ago, the Francistown side has not beaten Rollers.

The best result they have got against the Gaborone giants is a draw. Last season when ECCO was on top form, Rollers surprised many people when they humiliated the champions 3-0 at the Molepolole Sports Complex.

 
But ECCO has warned Mapalistina that history will count for nothing when they clash in this eagerly-awaited game. ECCO spokesperson Nelson Legwatagwata said that they have never played Rollers in a cup game but they will make them pay dearly. "It's nice that we're coming as underdogs.
