ECCO City Greens have acquired the services of Zambian coach, Chris Tembo. The coach previously handled Zambian First Division side, Nakambala Leopards.

He will fill the void left by Maxwell Moyo at the Francistown side. After months of a two-horse race with Township Rollers, ECCO has slipped badly in the title-chase and now lie third in the be MOBILE Premier League. They are 13 points adrift of Rollers, the defending champions and log leaders. The Francistown side sacked Moyo when the team started faltering in the title race and now they have roped in Tembo with a reported one-year contract.

"It is a challenge for me. I just have to go and do the best because expectations will be high," Tembo told The Post of Zambia last week. He takes charge of the former champions with six matches left to play. Besides Nakambala Leopards, the former Zanaco player coached City of Lusaka last season. This will be his first foreign appointment.
