Cricket side stutter against Nigeria

Botswana cricket side was taught a harsh lesson when they fell by 7wickets to Nigeria in the opening Pepsi ICC Africa T20 Division One tie at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Uganda on Sunday.

Nigeria won the toss and chose to field before bowling perfectly to reduce their opponents to 123 for 5 in the allotted 20overs.

Only captain, Karabo Modise provided resistance a a blistering 86 from 64 balls.  He was the only Botswana batsmen to hit double figures as the innings never got the much needed impetus. Joshua Ogunlola was the pick of the Nigerian bowlers with a return of 2wickets for 15 runs from four overs.
