COSAFA Cup to proceed despite attacks

The COSAFA Senior Challenge Cup will proceed in South Africa next month, despite a deadly outbreak of xenophobic attacks.

COSAFA chief executive officer, Sue Destombes said they have not received any intentions of withdrawal from participating countries.

The deadly violence has claimed seven lives thus far since attacks on foreigners began in KwaZulu Natal a fortnight ago.
